The Intelligent Bicycle Path System operates as follows:
• When a cyclist is detected within the detection zone on the bicycle path, motion sensors activate the SmartBpass system.
• Synchronized LED lights (active reflective point elements) illuminate sequentially from the first to the last element in the direction of the cyclist’s movement, indicating to drivers the direction from which the cyclist is approaching.
• When the cyclist leaves the bicycle crossing, SmartBpass turns off the light signals, allowing vehicles to safely continue driving.
