Anti Skid road surface

All factors that reduce the adhesion of the vehicle to the surface are potential sources of slip. Damp or oily surfaces, overloaded vehicles, worn or poorly inflated tires, mud, leaves, snow and ice, excessive engine overcrowding, rapid braking or excessive speed compared to road conditions contribute to slippage. Also the aquaplaning phenomenon (ie lack of water drainage capacity from the tread) contributes significantly to slippage and loss of vehicle steering.

In such cases, road surfaces that provide high roughness and reduce vehicle slippage are helpful. Facing straight to the needs of road users, the Euroasfalt team has developed a non-slip road surface called ASE System whose main purpose is to reduce the braking distance of the car.

Examples of braking distance (measured from the moment the brakes are applied to the stopping of the car) of the passenger car on dry and level ground:

ASE System

ASE System is a Anti Skid surface based on polyurethane resin and high-friction bauxite. It is a modern system that reduces the braking distance and limits the development of excessive speed. ASE System thanks to high coefficient of adhesion is also extremely resistant to breaking and is characterized by the ability to adapt to any type of shape.
